Capcom finally put a concrete date on PRAGMATA, and the platform list just got more interesting at the same time. The lunar sci-fi action-adventure is headed to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC, with a PC demo already live, a clear sign the long-quiet project is moving into the home stretch. The catch is that Switch 2 support is newly confirmed, and the console demo is still planned for later.
Capcom announced that its hacking-focused action-adventure game PRAGMATA will launch on April 24, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC via Steam. The Switch 2 version is newly announced. A demo is available now on PC, with a console demo coming at a later date.
Alongside the $59.99 standard edition, a $69.99 Deluxe Edition will be available, including the “Shelter Variety Pack.” The bundle adds alternate cosmetic outfits for Hugh and Diana, a weapon skin, emotes for Diana, extra background music for the Shelter, and an in-game library featuring 75 pieces of digital artwork. Capcom also said a Diana amiibo figure is planned.
PRAGMATA is Capcom’s newest IP, billed as an all-new science-fiction action-adventure built around distinctive hacking gameplay. Set on the moon in the near future, the story follows an unlikely duo trying to escape a lunar station controlled by a hostile station AI. In this single-player campaign, players control both spacefarer Hugh Williams and the enigmatic android Diana, each bringing distinct skills that have to be combined to hack, shoot, and push through obstacles on the road back to Earth.
The setup leans hard into isolation: the station is eerily deserted, with no signs of human life, but it is not empty. A hostile AI runs the facility and dispatches Bots to “neutralize” intruders, forcing Hugh and Diana to work in sync to survive the gauntlet, including massive boss encounters that stand between them and the exit.
Combat is framed around a hack-and-shoot loop. Diana can hack enemy systems to expose weaknesses, then Hugh capitalizes with a varied arsenal of weapons. Capcom says that fusion evolves throughout the game, aiming for fast-paced, decision-driven fights where the way you approach each encounter can reshape the outcome.
Traversal is also built on teamwork. Hugh’s thrusters let him dash and hover across tricky terrain, while Diana hacks security systems to solve puzzles and clear barriers that block progression. The weapon set is designed to cover multiple roles, from high-offense damage output to tactical and defensive tools like shields and decoys, with Hugh’s armory expanding as the adventure unfolds.
Between runs, players return to the Shelter to spend materials gathered from combat and hidden collectibles, unlocking weapons and other loadout upgrades. The hub also lets you enhance Diana’s hacking abilities, see heart-warming character moments, pick up new cosmetic outfits, and then head back into the station to take on the next challenge.
