The Four PS4/PS5 Games About To Disappear From PS Plus And You Might Miss Them Forever

PlayStation has warned subscribers that several well-known PS4 and PS5 titles will soon be removed from PS Plus, including Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name and Sayonara Wild Hearts.

As is common across video game subscription services, the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalogs are regularly updated with new arrivals while older games are cycled out. Earlier this month, we reported on the ten titles unlocked for PS4 and PS5 users in December, but now the spotlight shifts to the games that won’t be around much longer. PlayStation has officially confirmed the first four titles that players will have to say goodbye to in just a matter of days.

It’s important to note that this lineup isn’t final. As highlighted by PlayStation LifeStyle, the information currently appears only on the Japanese PS Store. Historically, however, the Japanese list tends to match—or closely mirror—the lineup later published worldwide. In other words, players everywhere should prepare for these games to leave the service globally.

Games Leaving PS Plus Extra and Premium in January 2026:

Sayonara Wild Hearts
Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name
SD Gundam Battle Alliance
Monopoly Plus

An exact removal date has not yet been announced. However, based on PlayStation’s usual PS Plus update schedule, these titles will most likely disappear around mid-January. The specific date will be revealed once PlayStation announces the first additions coming to the service in 2026.

December Has Been A Standout Month For PS Plus

Despite the departing titles, it’s worth remembering that December has been exceptionally strong for PS Plus users. The Extra and Premium plans were refreshed with major releases such as Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. Many players are already using the winter holidays to dive into these new additions, boosting the service’s year-end momentum.
