Gang Of Dragon: Nagoshi Studio Has Quietly Released New Images!

The game can be described as a clear “non-Yakuza” title, as Toshihiro Nagoshi’s latest project, while no longer developed under SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, strongly echoes his earlier work.

Gang Of Dragon is an action-adventure game set in Kabukicho, the iconic nightlife district of Shinjuku in Tokyo. The story follows Shin Ji-seong, portrayed by renowned Asian actor Ma Dong-seok, a high-ranking member of a Korean crime syndicate operating out of Kabukicho. As Shin roams the streets of Shinjuku, he becomes entangled in underworld conflicts while forming intense human connections that force him to confront his own purpose.

Combat unfolds from a third-person perspective, centered on Shin’s overwhelming physical power. Players engage enemies through brutal hand-to-hand combat, precise blade attacks, gunplay, and large-scale vehicle action, forging their own path through a narrative where violence and human bonds are deeply intertwined.

Nagoshi Studio, owned by China’s NetEase, announced on Twitter that the Gang Of Dragon Steam page has been updated with new images, which can be viewed below. System requirements have yet to be disclosed, and there is currently no information about target platforms either. While the game has only been announced for PC so far, it is widely expected to arrive on Sony and Microsoft consoles at a later date.

“I feel both relieved and intensely focused, as the day has finally come to unveil Gang of Dragon. This project depicts, with unwavering honesty, the lives of outlaws inhabiting the real streets of Kabukicho. Through gameplay, my team and I are committed to delivering a powerful new human drama born from this world. What you see in the teaser is only a small part of what Gang of Dragon truly has in store, and we look forward to sharing much more in the future,” Nagoshi wrote in a press release issued during The Game Awards.

Hopefully, Toshihiro Nagoshi’s first non-Yakuza game will live up to expectations.
