The video forms part of a broader testing approach aimed at illustrating the phone’s structural limits.

Built with extreme scenarios in mind

The video features a massive electric mining dump truck, measuring nearly 15 meters in length, 8.2 meters in width, and 7 meters in height, slowly passing over the HONOR Magic8 Lite. The test was conducted under controlled conditions, with a specific focus on the durability of the phone’s frame and front glass. While clearly not a real-world scenario for most users, the setup highlights the mechanical robustness of the device.

Practical implications for everyday use

This extreme demonstration goes beyond the certifications typically used to verify durability in the mid-range segment. According to HONOR, the combination of Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop technology and a newly reinforced tempered glass structure contributed to the device earning SGS Triple Resistant Premium Performance certification, along with an SGS 5-Star Comprehensive Reliability rating.
