Path Of Exile 2: Someone Defeated One of the Hardest Bosses Without Armor! [VIDEO]

Grinding Gear Games’ game is not easy, but that doesn’t bother some people if they can overcome such challenges.

While most Path Of Exile 2 online players complain that a recent trick has ruined the economy, one player is more concerned with achieving a feat that many consider impossible. Thanks to YouTube user isfooPoE, we now know it’s possible to kill the game’s toughest bosses without wearing any equipment.

In Path Of Exile 2, as in any other action RPG, loot is the most important thing. However, this is optional if you play a monk who can defeat bosses with a single quick strike. IsfooPoE’s build only requires a series of unarmed abilities that deal a surprising amount of damage without any items to complement them.

The battle against the Arbiter of Ash is impressive, mainly because it’s the clearest example of Path Of Exile 2‘s Souls-like nature. IsfooPoE dodges the boss’s attacks as if playing a FromSoftware game. The boss can set the entire room ablaze, yet he can’t land many hits on someone wearing only a T-shirt and pants. Most of the damage comes from an ability that triggers lightning strikes when IsfooPoE dashes. These lightning strikes destroy the ice walls that IsfooPoE raises around the boss. It’s a simple combo that deals more than enough damage, even without gear.

In boss defeat videos, players usually show off their builds so people can see how difficult it is to obtain the necessary items. For characters with powerful builds, you either need to spend a lot of time farming or have a lot of money to buy the equipment. However, this is not the case here. Equipment cannot replace a player’s skill, and this is a good example of that.
