GeForce Now: Expanding with 14 Games in January

With many new titles, Nvidia‘s service continues to grow, making it a strong alternative to Xbox Cloud Gaming and PlayStation Plus Premium.

On Thursday, Nvidia released its first GeForce Now newsletter of the year, detailing the PC games added to the service this week as well as those arriving throughout January. Starting with the immediate additions, the lineup includes one brand-new indie title, My Winter Car, alongside four games that have been available for some time but are now fully supported.

Eternights had previously been unavailable on Nvidia‘s cloud gaming platform, while the other titles could only be streamed if purchased via Steam. That limitation has now been removed, as versions bought through Xbox or the Epic Games Store are also supported.

The newly available games are My Winter Car (new Steam release, December 29), Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden (Xbox, available on Game Pass), The Casting of Frank Stone (Xbox, available on Game Pass), Eternights (Epic Games Store), and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 (Epic Games Store, GeForce RTX 5080 compatible).

Regarding Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, fans of the latest God of War entries may find it slightly less polished, but overall it shares many similarities with titles from Sony Santa Monica Studio while offering greater player freedom. Both The Casting of Frank Stone and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 also stand out within their respective genres.

Looking ahead, GeForce Now users can expect several more additions in January. Upcoming titles include Star Rupture (new Steam release, January 6), Pathologic 3 (new Steam release, January 9), Quarantine Zone: The Last Check (new Steam release, January 12), MIO: Memories in Orbit (new release on Steam and Xbox, available on Game Pass, January 20), Nova Roma (new Steam release, January 22), as well as Guild Wars: Reforged (Steam), Mon Bazou (Steam), Supermarket Simulator (Xbox, available on Game Pass), and Tavern Keeper (Steam).

Several notable titles are still missing, including 2XKO, Arknights: Endfield, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, Code Vein II, and Front Mission 3 Remake. However, Nvidia may add them later, as the initial monthly lineup is often expanded over time.
