TECH NEWS – The iconic Wallpaper TV returns with an ultra-thin 9 mm design and Hyper Radiant Color technology.

At CES 2026, LG Electronics (LG) unveils its latest OLED product lineup, led by the return of a true icon: the LG OLED evo W6, True Wireless Wallpaper TV. The W6 revives LG’s Wallpaper Design first introduced in 2017, now enhanced with true wireless connectivity and the company’s most advanced imaging innovation to date – Hyper Radiant Color technology. Having led the OLED market for 13 years, LG once again sets a new benchmark in next-generation displays with its full 2026 OLED evo lineup.

Innovation in the Thinnest Possible Form: Wallpaper OLED TV With True Wireless Connectivity

At the top of the 2026 lineup stands the LG OLED evo W6, designed to sit perfectly flush against the wall while maximizing immersion. Its 9 mm ultra-thin frame is the result of meticulous component miniaturization and a complete redesign of the internal structure. The Wallpaper TV achieves a sleek appearance without compromising structural integrity.

LG’s True Wireless technology gives users complete freedom of placement. All ports and inputs are housed in the Zero Connect Box, which can be positioned up to 10 meters away, preserving the TV’s ultra-thin design.

The Wallpaper TV is the world’s thinnest True Wireless OLED TV, capable of transmitting lossless 4K video and audio wirelessly. Its slim silhouette does not come at the expense of image quality or viewing experience.

Hyper Radiant Color Technology: The Next Evolution of OLED Displays

With Hyper Radiant Color technology, LG sets a new standard for next-generation OLEDs by enhancing blacks, colors, and brightness while reducing reflections.

This allows the Wallpaper TV, with Brightness Booster Ultra, to achieve up to 3.9 times higher brightness than conventional OLEDs. The model has received Intertek’s “Reflection Free Premium” certification.

Visual processing is handled by the new α (Alpha) 11 AI Processor Gen3, featuring a neural processing unit 5.6 times more powerful. The Dual AI Engine runs parallel algorithms to preserve natural detail without oversharpening.
