The long-awaited Billie Eilish – Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour (Live in 3D) concert film will open two months later than planned, as director James Cameron (Avatar franchise, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Aliens) is putting the final touches on it.

Cameron himself shared the news on his social platforms: “We’re fine-tuning the edit, bringing brand-new 3D technology into the footage, and adding never-before-seen, special backstage material you’re going to love. The new release date is May 8 – it’ll be worth the wait!”

(In Hungary, the film will hit theaters one day before the official U.S. release.)
