A John Wick video game is officially in development from Saber Interactive and Lionsgate, and Keanu Reeves will reprise the role in a single-player, third-person action title.
The project is being positioned as a mature-audience AAA game and is currently in the works for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The still-untitled John Wick game is set to blend Wick’s signature, adrenaline-heavy “gun-fu” combat with Saber’s track record for delivering action experiences designed to keep players coming back for more.
Franchise director Chad Stahelski and Reeves are both involved in the game’s development.
“I can’t wait for fans to step into the shoes of John Wick and explore the multi-dimensional world of The High Table,” said Jenefer Brown, President of Global Products & Experiences at Lionsgate. “We are collaborating closely with Saber’s dedicated team to develop a game that captures the unparalleled action, brand-defining fight choreography, immersive world-building, and authenticity of the films.”
