ZA/UM has announced a limited-time PC demo for its espionage RPG ZERO PARADES: For Dead Spies, available as part of Steam Next Fest: February 2026 Edition from February 23 through March 16 on Steam.
The demo is positioned as a curated slice of the game’s opening, letting players step into the role of Hershel Wilk and take their first steps in the city-state of Portofiro. According to the announcement, the trial version includes two quests, a selection of side stories, and space for open-ended exploration rather than a purely linear intro.
ZA/UM describes Wilk as a “brilliant but tormented operant”, and the demo is meant to set the tone for the assignment at the center of the full game. Beyond the timed demo window, the studio reiterated that ZERO PARADES: For Dead Spies is still slated for release in 2026 on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam, and it also shared a new trailer alongside the demo announcement.
Demo availability: February 23 to March 16
This is not an open-ended demo: it is only live during Steam Next Fest: February 2026 Edition. If you want a hands-on look at the opening setup – including two quests, side content, and time in Portofiro – you’ll need to download and play it before the March 16 cutoff.
