Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader: Owlcat Is Preparing a New DLC [VIDEO]

It seems that the studio doesn’t want to leave this game behind just yet, so it’s expanding its content.

Owlcat‘s next Warhammer 40,000 CRPG is already in the works, but the studio hasn’t given up on expanding the content of Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader yet. Owlcat recently unveiled the next DLC for the 2023 RPG, featuring a character well known to Warhammer fans: Trazyn the Infinite, an obsessive collector of cosmic rarities and an evil robot. The new DLC, The Infinite Museum, was previewed in a short trailer uploaded to YouTube by Owlcat. In the trailer, Trazyn stares at a green cube and says mysterious things, then says his name. It’s unclear if he pronounces it the way we’re used to, but I guess you never stop learning.

The teaser doesn’t contain much specific information, but you can read more on the Steam page: “Discover Trazyn’s obsession with the Von Valancius dynasty and decide whether to disrupt or fulfill his plans. A new companion joins your group, bringing a unique combat style that changes battlefield tactics.” It’s possible that Trazyn himself is the new companion because it would be funny and exciting to not reveal him in this first trailer. The DLC includes new missions and zones, as well as implants, a new feature that affects combat. The bright green color will excite all Necron fans, as well as CRPG fans who thought Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader was a thing of the past. (We understand, though, since three years is a long time.)

Some concept art from the DLC is available on Steam as well. Trazyn is present, as well as a guard from Krieg’s deadly division and a slimy-looking Chaos Space Marine. This may hint at where players are headed next.
