Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks: Console Version Around the Corner [VIDEO]

Caged Element and Wired Productions have decided to port their multiplayer action racing game from PC to the latest consoles. Once again, not all of them are included.

Experience high-octane combat racing in the Warhammer 40,000 universe! Customize and race buggies, tanks, and helicopters while mastering advanced movement and explosive weaponry. Unlock gear, customize your rides, and use the Creation Workshop to create, share, and play custom maps with the community. More speed. More dakka. Join the Speedwaaagh! and tear through war-torn tracks. Race solo, against bots, or with other players online in multiple game modes.

Prove you’re the fastest in Deff Rally, an 8v8 combat race where speed, cunning, and aggression combine for an all-out sprint to victory. Employ Orky tactics in Kill Konvoy, where teams must defend their giant mechanical Stompa while sabotaging the enemy’s. Every match erupts into chaos as you fight to the finish line. Each vehicle plays differently, rewarding players with diverse skills, cunning, and brutal strategies.

When the dust settles, jump into building your own chaos with a powerful level editor that has over 400 assets. Create racetracks and battlefields either alone or with friends in real time. Then, share your creations on the Workshop, where you can download wild creations from the community.

Warhammer 40K: Speed Freeks was released on PC via early access on August 6, 2024, and exited early access on May 22, 2025. Now, it’s the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series‘ turn. However, the only thing that’s certain at the moment is that the console port will arrive sometime in 2026. The Nintendo Switch 2 will be excluded, which seems to be common with multiplatform releases. Although we understand Nintendo’s desire to limit lower-quality games on its platform, we consider its approach to be overly strict.
