Capcom has announced Monster Hunter Outlanders, a new mobile installment in the popular action-RPG franchise, set to offer players an expansive open world filled with iconic monsters and cooperative gameplay.
Capcom shows no signs of slowing down as it officially unveils Monster Hunter Outlanders, a fresh addition to its iconic Monster Hunter series that introduces a “massive open world” for the first time. Since its debut in 2005, the franchise has gained immense popularity, with recent titles like Monster Hunter: World reaching broad audiences. Outlanders is a mobile spin-off developed in collaboration with TiMi Studio Group, the creators behind Call of Duty: Mobile, and is set to launch at a future date.
Monster Hunter Expands to Mobile with a Massive Open World
The first trailer for Monster Hunter Outlanders showcases a vast and detailed world players can explore. From lush green meadows to deserts and aquatic regions, the game promises a rich variety of environments. Players will encounter iconic monsters and can take them on solo or with up to four hunters in a team, retaining the cooperative essence that fans have come to love.
Mobility and environmental interaction play a crucial role in Outlanders. Players will be able to swim, slide down slopes, swing from trees, and climb cliffs, adding a new level of exploration and freedom. With Capcom overseeing the project, Monster Hunter Outlanders aims to bring an authentic Monster Hunter experience to mobile screens.
While there is no official release date for Outlanders yet, Capcom has assured fans that early testing phases will take place prior to the full launch. This leaves room for speculation as to whether it will arrive before or after Monster Hunter Wilds, which is slated for release on February 28.
