The development team behind Creatures of Ava, Inverge Studios, has announced a new game: a dark, isometric survival management title.
In Peregrino, you lead a group of pilgrims through a cursed land, making life-or-death choices on their journey to paradise. Enter the sinister land in-between, prove your faith, and survive the profane abominations that guard it. Guide your followers by making tough decisions that affect their fate—and yours. Scavenge, hunt, and fight to survive in this cruel land. Manage scarce resources, keep your pilgrims fed and sheltered, and prepare for nightfall when the divine custodians of New Eden begin their hunt.
Face grotesque, profane, and nightmarish abominations—divine custodians who will test your worthiness. Combat alone won’t save you. Your faith will be tested as these horrors grow stronger after dusk, but the rewards for those who endure grow as well. You’re not just leading a caravan; you’re responsible for lives. Each pilgrim has a story, unique skills, and a reason for seeking New Eden. Tend to their needs and morale, but remember: death is permanent, and your choices affect whether they want to stay. Your caravan is your home, your hope, and your only defense against the approaching darkness. Upgrade and customize your wagons, reinforce the walls, expand your storage, increase mobility, and get ready for what lies ahead. The deeper you go, the harder it becomes.
Choose your path through the forest carefully, manage your inventory, and escape with your loot before it’s too late. Resources are scarce and space is limited. Decide what to take, what to leave behind, and how to turn scraps into vital tools, weapons, and supplies. Immerse yourself in a haunting world inspired by gothic horror and religious folklore, brought to life with hand-crafted, grim 19th-century aesthetics. Each playthrough is unique, shaped by the people you meet, the terrors you face, and the choices you make.
Peregrino has only been announced for PC, and the release date is unknown.
