Demonschool: School Life Strategy in RPG, Coming Soon [VIDEO]

The game from Necrosoft Games and Ysbryd Games will soon be available on multiple platforms, and the doors of the demonic school will soon open.

Demonschool is a new-style tactics RPG where movement equals action. Team up with Faye and her fellow outsiders to defeat big weirdos between the human and demon worlds while enjoying university life on a mysterious island. During the planning phase, you can rewind any action and chain combos to dispatch foes. A light horror narrative unfolds through huge avatars, with plenty of side quests. Plan your class schedule to level up and build skills. You can form relationships with 15 characters. Explore the island as its mysteries are revealed morning, noon, and night—day by day, week by week—across a university semester. Plan your squad’s schedule to enhance abilities and unlock new ones. Recruit new teammates and strengthen bonds based on who you choose.

Units interact contextually with the environment: striking enemies, moving objects, or simply dashing. Plan moves at your leisure and execute them all at once. You can also rewind during the planning phase. Buffing allies and debuffing enemies increases damage—watch those numbers! Combos deal heavy damage and trigger unique elemental attacks to exploit weaknesses. The four protagonists are Faye, Destin, Namako, and Knute. Faye is the last in line of Earth’s final demon-hunting family—she loves to punch and cares about everyone. Destin is a pugilist through and through, a good guy who believes in you to his detriment. Namako is a photography nerd who bottles everything up until she explodes. Knute is a pragmatic media enthusiast who always sees all sides—and is trying to be more positive these days.

“At long last, Demonschool is finally coming out. It’s been a long road, but we’ve finished the certification process and are ready to go. We put a lot of ourselves into this, and now the future of Demonschool is in your hands. We truly hope you enjoy it,” said Brandon Sheffield, creative director at Necrosoft Games, in a press release.

Demonschool is set to release on September 3 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. A demo is also available on Steam.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
