Although the release date is not even a week away (it’s already the end of September? time sure flies), Robomodo and Activision put together another trailer for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5, which continues the introduction of the playable skaters.
The game seemingly doesn’t even plan to come to the PC, it only launches on PlayStation 4/Xbox One and PlayStation 3/Xbox 360, although the prev-gen versions will not have multiplayer as seen in the current-gen console ports, effectively making them a level swapped minimal update over THPS HD from 2012. The new trailer shows some gameplay again, while the skaters talk, and while the cel-shaded visuals have slightly improved the graphics, for a game like this, the physics will be essential.
If it’s bad, the game will end up in the trash bin after 5 minutes. The other important question is the amount of improvement over HD, but seeing how Robomodo still uses Unreal Engine 3, we are not expecting much… especially since UE4 has been out for a long time already!
