A new Far Cry game is in the works?

In 2012, Far Cry 3 was not bad, but the 2014 Far Cry 4 wasn’t that much better (and the DLCs had some weird ones, like the Yeti one – what kind of ending was THAT?), and since then, we have heard nothing from this franchise. Now, it seems very likely that there is going to be a new Far Cry game, but the way that it got unveiled is very ridiculous, to say the least…
So the entire thing started with IGN Turkey leaking an image of Far Cry Primal:

Then, Ubisoft quickly announced a livestream is going to happen soon (and it is still going: LINK), which has a cave painting and nothing else. Intriguing. It looks like the game is going back to the past. According to Kotaku, this game will be in the Ice Age, so we can expect mammoths and other animals in Primal. Question: what are we going to use as weapons?
We’re wondering about something: this game isn’t likely to be Far Cry 5, and seeing Horizon Zero Dawn, will this be a trend? Games going back to the Stone Age? We’re waiting for details, or an announcement by Ubisoft. We don’t think that they will be able to top Blood Dragon with this spin-off, but we would gladly eat the humble pie, if it does end up being better!
