It was expected – after IGN Turkey managed to publish the first image of the game way before they should have done so, Ubisoft’s announcement of Far Cry Primal wasn’t that much of a surprise than what it should have been. But they were right, Far Cry will indeed take us back to the past next year – while it might be fresh for this franchise, it will still reminds us of another certain game…
In this game, we will control Takar, who’s the last hunter alive in his group. He will end up arriving in the land of Oros and the goal is to survive. Seeing how this game is playing in the Stone Age, don’t expect to see plasma rifles, shotguns or any modern weaponry – bow, arrow, things like this will be your arsenal. (But we’re not sure about those being made in 10000 BC… or were they?)
The release date is a little unlucky though, because it will launch – on consoles (PlayStation 4, Xbox One) at least – on February 23, 2016… the same day as Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and later in March on the PC. We expect three things: do not be a buggy mess upon launch, try to be different from Horizon Zero Dawn and have a solid appeal to this game.
