Samurai Warriors 4 Special Anime Pack to be published on the PlayStation 4

We already reported, that Tecmo Koei will release their new Samurai Warriors 4 action game to the PlayStation 4 this fall, but what’s the latest news, is and that they just announced that the game will also be released in a special edition.

The name of this special edition is “Samurai Warriors 4 Special Anime Pack”, and it will be released alongside on the normal edition on the PlayStation 4 this Fall. It marks the tenth anniversary of the series, and the special edition will contain a bunch of additional content, including an anime movie on Blu-ray.

The limited edition will of course include the copy of the game, a copy of the Blu-ray anime “Samurai Warriors: Legend of the Sanada”, a soundtrack CD (plus downloadable soundtrack), and some in-game exclusive DLC as well. The DLC is mostly comprised of additional costumes and skins for in-game characters.

The price for all this? $75. The Samurai Warriors 4 Special Anime Pack and the regular game as well, will be released on the PlayStation 4 on October 24.

For most gamers, special editions like these usually aren’t worth the extra money. But this one seems to offer enough for the extra $15. It should especially appeal to collectors.
