Shadwen: a brand new game is developed from the makers of Trine! We already have the date and the price!

We haven’t been on the lookout for Frozenbyte in the past months since their latest game – Shadwen – was revealed. The developers have taken their time to wrap the development up, which is a surprising move on their end.

Shadwen will focus mostly on stealth, and it has been slated for release with its price tag also being publicly announced. The game will arrive on May 17 (sharing the release date with Shadow of the Beast) on PlayStation 4 and PC. The price is going to be 17 euros (about 20 dollars) on both platforms, although the PC version will launch with a 14,5€ (~17-18 dollar) cost. Shadwen will be available in digital format only, so you have to look for it on the PlayStation Store.

The king must die, but how will we achieve this result? We also have to take care of an orphan called Egy Lily, so it might not be a wise idea to get rid of someone while she sees everything… but we can rewind time to plan our moves while the time stops, too. Hm, somehow this gameplay reminds us of Transistor…
