The developers of the first two Max Payne games, Alan Wake, and Quantum Break are now opening up to work on multiplayer.
Remedy‘s blog post says that while they always put single player experiences as a priority, they now want to challenge themselves by somehow move the elements over into cooperative multiplayer. Also, Remedy is now looking for a lead network programmer, who would supervise the transformation of the Northlight engine (Remedy‘s proprietary engine) to be capable of multiplayer in the upcoming games.
As Remedy is already working on something new, the new employee would already be part of the next project. All that’s left to wonder is that what genre will the new game be, and what platforms will receive it?
