Isometric RPGs are not dead; after the success of Wasteland 2, inXile began work on the third installment.
Between the launch of the first and second Wasteland games, twenty-six years (!) have passed, but this time, we don’t have to wait for that much to grab the post-apocalyptic RPG series’ third title. Wasteland, which was the main inspiration behind Fallout, keeps that old flare burning.
Team November’s sole survivor is in the frozen state of Colorado; nuclear effects have cut this segment of the world off from everything and everyone else, explaining why the survivors around here have no idea about the Rangers. We, as a Ranger, will have to bring order back to this place.
Wasteland 3 will bring in a cooperative campaign – you’ll be able to play with a friend, but in case he/she has to leave, you can continue offline. When he/she returns, there might be a big change!
Wasteland 3‘s crowdfunding starts on October 5 on Fig. Seeing how inXile mostly fulfilled their promises, they should be doing good. The game would get a simultaneous release on PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
