…didn’t For Honor launch less than three months ago!?
Ubisoft doesn’t seem to care about things such as longevity: they are already announced that Season 2, dubbed Shadow and Might, will launch on May 16 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
They didn’t just announce that, but they also said that there would be two characters added to the roster:
- Shinobi (Samurai Assassin) – The Shinobi are silent warriors able to move with a dancer’s grace and kill with precision thanks to a lifetime of disciplined training. They wield the traditional Japanese Kusarigama.
- Centurion (Knight Hybrid) – The Centurion sees the battlefield like a chessboard. Equipped with the reliable standard issue gladius, Centurions can bypass enemy defenses through strategic close-quarters combat.
No new Viking warrior this time, it seems. There will be two new maps (Forge, Temple Garden) added into the game, as well as Epic gear.
How long can For Honor stay alive if the PC players have quickly left the game on Steam shortly after launch? (And why did the new season get just a CGI trailer?)
