With a survey, we got a list of candidates that could be included in Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey after it releases.
The survey comes from The Codex Network, and let’s see what it could contain: a new storyline set in a new area; new missions in the base game’s world; a Helix credit pack; a DLC that enhances character progression (increased level cap, new gear and abilities); exclusive perks for season pass owners (for example: a permanent boost for say, our XP); early access to new DLC; weekly, episodic story missions with new/recurring characters; DLC focusing on a new character and their unique progression system; new gear and equipment; new mode with unusual elements in an Assassin’s Creed game (magic, or mythical characters for example); an exclusive item for season pass owners; and new abilities unavailable in the base game.
Going by the image above, we can imagine the first two, the sixth, the ninth, and the eleventh points as reasonable. #10, #7, and #3 would be bold, and #4 would be outright unfair against those who don’t buy the season pass for the game.
Ubisoft promotes Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey in a different manner, too: they published the game’s main title theme, called Legend of Eagle Bearer. You can find it on YouTube, Spotify, and iTunes. It has a small relation to Sony, as it was composed and produced by The Flight, who last worked on Horizon: Zero Dawn.
Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey will launch on October 5 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
