MOVIE NEWS – We’ve learned some news about the upcoming The Nun movie.

James Wan’s The Conjuring series is extremely successful, therefore while the third movie is currently being worked on, the studio behind the series wants to pump out as many spin-offs as possible to make some quick money. So far there are two Annabelle movies and soon there will be one that centres around The Conjuring 2’s main villain, the nun.

Now we’ve learned what the new movie will be about: “When a young nun at a cloistered abbey in Romania takes her own life, a priest with a haunted past and a novitiate on the threshold of her final vows are sent by the Vatican to investigate. Together, they uncover the order’s unholy secret. Risking not only their lives but their faith and their very souls, they confront a malevolent force in the form of a demonic nun.”

Based on this short tease, the movie seems to be quite interesting, but we’ll have to wait and see how it will turn out.

The Nun will hit theatres on September 7.
