Shadow Of The Tomb Raider’s Cooperative Mode Gets Dev Diary [VIDEO]

The Tomb Raider-reboot trilogy’s final part expands with co-op as part of The Forge DLC.

Eidos Montreal‘s goal with the cooperative approach was to allow us to work together with a friend in more tombs and more modes than before. However, it meant it was a challenge for the developers to overcome to design fitting areas, but they seemed to like it. Thus, if we are going for a speedy approach, we will have to work together as flawlessly as possible to complete the tasks in front of us.

The cooperative gameplay isn’t just a sidenote in Shadow of the Tomb Raider as it was in its predecessor, Rise of the Tomb Raider. In it, only the Endurance mode had co-op to help Lara survive further in Siberia. The cooperative expansion is a great idea.

The Forge is the first of the seven monthly DLC, and it’s part of the 30-dollar season pass. Separately, it costs 5 dollars. It will become available on November 13 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
