A Glove That Enhances Performance?!

Even with gaming accessories, it is safe to say that creativity knows no boundaries…

Oskar “Dodde” Ödmark injured his shoulder in 2014 as a mechanical engineer, but he came up with the idea that was patented in Sweden. It would be the Flashe Gaming Glove, which is crowdfunded at the moment on Kickstarter, and it’s way over the minimum goal already.

It’s a glove (or something that covers your lower arm altogether) that increases blood circulation, keeps the body temperature at bay, reduces the stress of the muscles, and it also provides faster recovery – the developers think that the product could become a highly used item for eSports players or even a regular player.

We can get the glove with a “design gaming” sleeve variant that has its sleeve made out of polyester, which offers „better breathability, ability to regulate moisture, sweat-wicking capabilities and extra comfort” according to the Kickstarter page. The Flashe Gaming Glove can be acquired in four colours, and it was designed to reduce the injuries of our lower arm and wrist while using a mouse, as it will change our angle in a way that avoids injuries, and with the rotation support, we can gain more precision as well.

On Kickstarter, roughly 25 dollars will get you the sleeve only in February as an early supporter – the design version is 35 dollars, the entire Flashe Gaming Glove is approximately 59 bucks. It doesn’t seem to be a cheap and dumb idea altogether.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
