Capcom has gotten quite strong in the past few years, and in it, Peter Fabiano has had a significant role.
Fabiano spent thirteen years at Capcom. For instance, he was the localization director for Resident Evil: Revelations, but after it, his role got bigger over the years. In Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, he not only was the actor for Peter Walken, but he also was the producer. In Resident Evil 2 Remake, Resident Evil 3 Remake, Ghosts ‘n Goblins: Resurrection, and Resident Evil: Village, he continued to be in the producer role, so he was close to the fire.
„Hard to write this best so I’ve decided to keep it simple: Thank you, everyone, at Capcom for allowing me to grow together with you over the past 13 years. I’m thankful and will cherish the experience forever,” Fabiano said in a tweet. „Thanks to everyone both in and outside the studio that have supported me over the years. I’ve taken a new position at Bungie working with some great people and continuing my journey. ‘Eyes up guardian.’”, he continued. While he did not mention it, he became the production discipline manager at Bungie.
Bungie is currently in a unique situation. In early 2019, they broke up with Activision Blizzard, taking back the publishing rights to Destiny in the process. They also got the Chinese money (NetEase gave them a hefty amount), and they plan to launch a studio in Amsterdam by 2022. They are also developing a new IP, which should be available by 2025. So they have more than Destiny up their sleeves (and they also have created Halo in the past).
We have nothing else to say but to wish Fabiano the best of luck at his new workplace.
