The company promises to “continue to invest” in Star Wars games in the wake of Respawn‘s success, during a recent talk with shareholders, EA talked about the success of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
The company’s CEO, Andrew Wilson, mentioned that EA plans to “continue to invest” in the franchise that this title has started. Wilson also talked about the launch of Fallen Order on PS5 and Xbox X Series, which helped give the title a second wind. The game was a commercial success, proving that people are still looking for single-player experiences.
While Wilson’s words are not a direct confirmation of a sequel, they are the closest thing to an official announcement. And thanks to a call for workers he posted from Respawn Entertainment, the studio that developed Fallen order, we know that a new Star Wars title is on the way.

However, it will probably be quite long before we know more, considering that Respawn is also working on a new project, which will be set in a “unique universe” and will again be a single-player adventure.
