Slightly Mad Studios didn’t really stop after releasing the first Project CARS game: after barely two months, they announced the sequel. More than 50 unique locations, with over 200 track variations, and with an added twist: loose surface racing on snow, mud, gravel and dirt! We’re taking a turn towards rally, folks.
Eight different disciplines, the new ones will be Touge (just think of the boss duels in Need For Speed Carbon), Rallycross and Hillclimb. We can play a co-op career, so the new roles for us can be teammate, swap driver, spotter or co-driver. More opportunities and risks, but more rewards can fill our imaginery wallets in the end.
There’s also going to be a bigger esport focus, while also keeping the socialization style from the first game. We will also receive a test track, on which can see if our setup works properly or not to shave some tenths off our time. Looks like DiRT Rally has received a huge rival!
