Let’s mix up the horror genre with the movieish style of Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls (don’t forget, both games will receive a PlayStation 4 port…) – this is how we can describe Supermassive Games’ Until Dawn as close as possible. There will be interactivity, but not in a way as in say, Fatal Frame or Silent Hill games – speaking of which, why aren’t these franchises receiving sequels anymore?
Until Dawn is going to be out exclusively on the PlayStation 4 in a month (August 25, to be exact), and the build used for the video below is almost the final code, which will eventually end up on discs and on the Store later on. The realistic visuals are especially present in the characters’ looks, so in this aspect, Until Dawn will be pretty much remarkable. In our opinion, the story will make or break the game. Don’t get tired by the end, so it might be an excellent PS4-only title. If it does end up being boring towards the end, don’t be surprised to see the game get 7 out of 10 ratings…
