Media Molecule’s Tearaway was one of the best PlayStation Vita-exclusive titles, so it’s definitely not surprising to see it being remade exclusively to the PlayStation 4 under the name Tearaway Unfolded.
Sure, the Companion App will be available to the iOS and Android, there is also a possibility to make good use of the Vita as well, which shouldn’t be ignored that much by the developers in our opinion, just to avoid making the Vita look like something that is completely ignored by them… which is sadly is the case at the moment.
What is this app for? We can customize the world, while my friend is discovering it, making it look like it’s a game that is played by both of us, despite only one DualShock 4 is being used. We can even use photos for the textures of platforms – one unexpected photo, and your friend’s face might show up on the screen. We can also help solving some tasks with this. The messenger can also be created by the two of us together – it’s faster, plus it makes it much more funnier. We can also check out others’ creations through the app (if they shared it to the public, mind you), making the community gaming come a bit more closer towards us. The game is going to be out on September 8.
