Xenomorphs for Christmas? With Alien: Rogue Incursion, It’s Possible! [VIDEO]

Survios’ game has been given a rather bold release date, so for virtual reality enthusiasts, the timing of the Xenomorphs could be pretty nifty.

Alien: Rogue Incursion is an all-new single-player action-horror virtual reality game with an original story that immerses players in the horrors of the Alien universe. Designed by Alien fans for Alien fans, Survios brings its expertise to create this terrifyingly immersive Alien virtual reality game. Experience the horror and challenge of battling Xenomorphs in a world inspired by the look and feel of the Alien movie franchise. Audio, visuals, lighting, FX, interaction and haptics work together to immerse players in the terrifying world of Alien.

Xenomorphs can intelligently use the environment to find the best angle of attack and can appear from anywhere around you. Playing in VR will test your nerves and skills as you feel the pulse-pounding terror of facing off against the Xenomorphs. In addition to weapons and gear, your resourcefulness, quick reflexes and ability to stay cool under terrifying pressure will be needed to survive.

Combat is dynamic and can happen (or not) based on player actions, and the moment you don’t respect the Xenomorphs is the moment you die in a bloody mess. Spawning is reactive to player movement. Make a lot of noise and the Xenomorphs will come to you. Death is an unavoidable reality when fighting the Xenomorphs. Use your motion tracker to locate hotspots. Unleash a hail of bullets with your pulse rifle, shotgun and more from your arsenal to battle the Perfect Organism.

Alien: Rogue Incursion will be released on December 19th for Meta Quest 3, PlayStation VR2 and SteamVR for $40. The Deluxe Edition costs $50 and includes the base game, a blue camouflage skin, a weapon skin, and additional content yet to be announced. Whichever version you pre-order, you’ll get an Alien: Romulus-inspired weapon and armor skin.

So we’ll have Xenos for Christmas.
