Bungie is taking the harsh reviews and negative feedback from fans very seriously. Actually, when it comes to feedback, the developer of Destiny “lives on the feedback,” regardless of whether it’s positive or negative.
“We never feel like we need to swipe away when a player is expressing an honest opinion about our games,” Bungie told fans in the weekly update. “We’re harder on ourselves than anyone else.”
Despite the overwhelming hype which Destiny received before the launch, the game was received with tepid reception. The criticisms about the repetitive gameplay and the broken loot system were just the tip of the iceberg when it came to other player grumbles. Then this Bungie hit even harder when they released an update which reduced the “effectiveness of a humbling number of economy exploits,” which was in fact the popular loot cave exploit.
With a meager loot system and a Cryptarch that constantly annoys players, it’s certainly comprehensible why fans would be frustrated by taking away the only sense of hope they had for getting Legendary items. Well at least Bungie is listening. Though they couldn’t disclose any plans, they did drop the hint of a major patch or something on the way.
“What we can say right now is that we talk about you every day at Bungie. We listen to you more than you might think, and there are plans we can’t disclose fully that will change your experience as a Guardian,” Bungie teased. “Also, it’s a safe bet that you’ll have something new to read here very soon. I make that bet because I’m editing it.”
I think they should have add a costume game mode or a forge mode to Destiny. They should also expand the amount of players aloud to join in on a fire team.I still think bungie is the best company on xbox 360/PS3 /xbox one/PS4.
