It seems that developer of Bioshock games: Irrational Games, is brought back from dead.
New recruitment advertisements have emerged online looking for new staff members, which includes a senior programmer with Unreal Engine 3, 4 and multiplayer experience.
The 1997 founded company, was made prominent by its first title: System Shock 2 and much later the Bioshock series, was all-but-closed earlier this year by its founder Ken Levine, who “shifted the company’s focus” and lay off ”all but fifteen” members of its team. A statement released by Levine at the time read as follows:
”“While I’m deeply proud of what we’ve accomplished together, my passion has turned to making a different kind of game than we’ve done before. To meet the challenge ahead, I need to refocus my energy on a smaller team with a flatter structure and a more direct relationship with gamers. In many ways, it will be a return to how we started: a small team making games for the core gaming audience.”
