Following the attacks of PlayStation Network and Xbox Live by Lizard Squad late last month, Sony announced that it would be offering PSN players five days of PlayStation Plus and a 10% discount code to use in the PS Store, but without a exact date of when that code would be available. Today Sony stated that players will be able to use the code this weekend.
The code will be available through the PS Store or from the PlayStation Twitter account and must be used “from 9:00 AM 1/23 PST through 9:00 AM PST 1/26.” You can’t use the code on anything in the PS Store though; exclusions on the deal include “subscriptions for PS Plus, Music Unlimited, PS Now and rental video content.”
