The 18th annual D.I.C.E. Awards were held on February 5, 2015 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada during the D.I.C.E. Summit. The event was streamed live online via Twitch.TV and hosted by Pete Holmes. Who were the lucky games, which those numerous well deserved awards?
Well, let’s start with the true winner: Dragon Age: Inquisition received the Game of the Year title at the DICE Awards 2015. The academy, composed publishers, developers and members of the Independent Game Developers Association, held the eighteenth annual event last evening to celebrate the best games of 2014.
Still, Monolith’s Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor was the real winner of the night by having eight awards. In fact Shadow of Mordor only lost in one category; Game of the Year. Dragon Age: Inquisition was only nominated for two awards, and won both. Destiny managed to nab four awards, and Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft took home two.
