GDC is running strong at the moment and as Sony has promised, they really had a presentation focusing on their upcoming VR headset, Project Morpheus. It received quite a boost compared to the 2014 model: instead of having a 5 inch LED display, it now wields a 5.7 inch OLED display with a 1920×1080 resolution, a 100° view angle and a 120 Hz refresh rate, which means 120 frames per second… and only 18ms of latency, about half of the original model.
It’s now confirmed that it will be presented to us at the E3 as well, where they plan to show more VR games… but the question still stands: when can we actually pick one up? In the first half of 2016.
