There needs to be a brief explanation though about why’s a 1.5 and a roughly 3-year delay to the two consoles respectively in this country. Basically, in 2000, the Chinese Communist Party has imposed a console ban, which was dated just around the PS2‘s release, which Sony was planning up nicely, only to go down – this ban slowly seems to erode.
This is why CCP allowed Sony to enter the market with its PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita – although gray market existed all the time -, and they will hit the shelves on March 20, two months later than the original planned date.
PS4 will cost 2899 RMB (~465 USD, around twice of the average mininum wage there) and the PS Vita will be 1299 RMB (~208 USD, about a month of minimum wage). The consoles will launch with this lineup:
PlayStation 4
- Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition (Koei Tecmo)
- King of Wushu Free Early Access Edition (Suzhu Snail Digital Technology)
- Knack (SCE)
- Mr. Pumpkin Adventure (Shanghai Youju Information Technology)
- Rayman Legends (Ubisoft)
- Trials Fusion (Ubisoft)
PS Vita
- Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition (Koei Tecmo)
- Farming Simulator 14 (Giants Software)
- Final Fantasy X HD Remaster (Square Enix)
- Final Fantasy X-2 HD Remaster (Square Enix)
- One Tap Hero (Shanghai Kena Information Technology)
- Rayman Legends (Ubisoft)
