Horror-fans will not be disappointed yet again, as after Freddy Krüger’s appearance in Mortal Kombat 9, NetherRealm has given a chance to Jason Voorhees in Mortal Kombat X.

Jason is the first new DLC character (we’re not counting Goro, mind you!), who’s able to be revived in one of his fighting modes: he returns with the same amount of HP as full as his meter was – if it’s empty, he comes back to life with 5% HP. This is his Unstoppable variation, which also has HP-regeneration.

The Relentless mode allows him to teleport and make his enemies’ controls mess up with one of his special moves, plus he has a powerful bear hug as well. The Slasher variation allows Jason to use his machete a bit more. Not bad – if you have the Kombat Pack, you can already grab him from today.
