New details about the upcoming Mirror's Edge: remake or sequel, THAT is the question!

We keep hearing about it, but not that much – this was the situation with the new Mirror’s Edge game. It was announced on the 2013 E3, but back then, it had no name. Now, it just got named, and it’s also confirmed to not be a sequel. So if you’ve been waiting for Mirror’s Edge 2, we have to disappoint you. Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst will feature Faith again as the protagonist, which means that it will either be an extended first episode… or just a remake in the end.

Electronic Arts will feature this game too on their E3 presentation, along with several other awaited titles, like the new Battlefront or Need For Speed. Could this be an experiment to see if there’s an interest for a real sequel?
