Star Wars Battlefront – Forget the single player campaign [VIDEO]

Star Wars Battlefront, which is slated for release on November 17 and has the PlayStation 4 as the lead development platform, is going to support up to 40 players online. We have to begin with saying this, because DICE has confirmed that the game will not have a single player campaign whatsoever included.

There will be cooperative missions, where AI bots can participate, but there isn’t going to be a one player story mode in the new Battlefront game. This probably isn’t going to be an issue, because even DICE thinks that Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4 didn’t have a good campaign in them, but the multiplayer was top quality in both. So the game might have received a minor hit way before release, but if the multiplayer is going to work normally – this is probably not going to be an issue even at launch -, then we won’t be disappointed by DICE‘s work yet again. There is something good in development, going by the E3 trailer. Star Wars: Battlefront will be released on November 17.
