Thanks to PlayStation Access, we now can see half an hour of Until Dawn, which might aim to be the scarest of the PlayStation 4-titles, and it’s likely to become just that. The eight survivors won’t have their lives spared that easily, especially because our decisions – similarly to 2010’s Heavy Rain – will also affect the story, as well as the ending too.
Let’s quickly add the fact that this small segment of the game might be entirely different in our run because of that. Speaking of run, our main worry about the game is whether Supermassive Games (the developers) will be able to keep up the complexity of the story all the way to the end or not. If they drop the ball towards the end, it might not be a wise move, let’s just say that.
All worries aside, Until Dawn is really promising so far (outside the multiplayer at least), and there’s not much time left until it gets released: the States get it on August 25, followed by the European release a day later.
