Calvino Noir, which is a stealth-based, film noir style game playing in the 1930s, received a release date less than two months after its announcement, announced by the game’s director, Dan Walters. The North American release date is August 25 on PlayStation 4, followed by the European release one, and the PC release by two days, although the latter one isn’t officially confirmed yet.
The style of the game is most likely going to be mesmerizing for Blade Runner’s fans, because the movie seemingly inspired this game by a lot. In the game, we have to control three characters, all being affected by World War I: Wilt was formerly in the British Army, Arno is experienced in making chemical weapons and Siska, who was an orphan, is ready to change things despite the young age. We need to control three of them to the gate of success, solving puzzles, without being seen.
The game looks really promising and we hope the music will be similar in the final game as the trailer used: it would give an absolutely perfect ambience! We’ll see about that in two weeks – with a decent pricing, Calvino Noir might be another great game.
I love this style! Cant wait…
