EA Sports decided to flip the table with the generic trailers around YouTube for the upcoming games, and instead went for a pretty much mindblowing trailer for Madden NFL 16.
This is called Madden NFL: The Movie, which features some NFL and Hollywood people: Dave Franco as hero Blade Johnson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse as his sidekick Janet, Julio Jones as henchman Trick Montalban, Buffalo Bills coach Rex Ryan as Lil’ Pepper, Colin Kaepernick as Al Pacino from Scent of a Woman, Antonio Brown as slickster Sticky Bun and Rob Gronkowski as the half-shirt wearing Half-Top.
Even the thumbnail of the video says a lot: many commenters under the video believe that this is way better than the game will be, which – as pointed out by others – feels like the same game every single year.
Let’s hope FIFA 16 (featuring women’s national teams) will get a similar trailer like this, then we will definitely fall out of our chairs.
In case you want to pick the game up, there isn’t much time left, as Madden NFL 16 is out on August 26 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
