Republique will sneak onto the PlayStation 4 soon

GungHo Online Entertainment America and Camouflaj have announced that this episodic, stealth action-adventure game called Republique will be released on the PlayStation 4 as well. However, when the fifth and final episode called Terminus is out, the game will immediately be out on the PS4 in early 2016 in its entirety in physical and digital release as well. There hasn’t been a much more concrete release date yet, but our guess would be somewhere around the end of February.

In Republique, we control Hope, who wants to escape from Metamorphosis, which is owned by a totalitarian regime called Overseer. Stealth, hacking, whatever it takes, Hope is aiming for freedom to avoid getting ruled. Going by the images, it is kinda hard to believe that the game is running on the Unity engine, but it does. It has a hint of Blade Runner in it, which can give Republique an interesting take on the genre. The game originally showed up as a Kickstarter campaign in 2012, originally planned for the iOS – thankfully, more platforms got this decent game. Have a look at the some images.
