Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 got a slightly different look since the last time we wrote about it. Why? Well, Robomodo applied a simple trick to hide that their game f… u… so it doesn’t look like a game that was released this console generation, so they threw a cel-shaded filter all over it.
We could go and say that they went down the route of Borderlands, but there’s a difference: Gearbox’s game was alright, and this one doesn’t look promising – we’ll find it out in a month, when the game is going to be released. But going just by Pro Skater HD, which wasn’t a decent remake/compilation (and the fact that 5’s animation is week and the physics look awkward), we don’t see a lot of hope that Robomodo will suddenly improve.
We didn’t say much about the trailer yet, but it’s the regular rubbing the game’s head because they are all participating in it thing. But, there are new levels in the video, it seems. Let’s hope we won’t chuck the disc into the trash after five minutes. It’s been a long 13 years since the last THPS episode…
