DICE is making worse and worse steps about Star Wars Battlefront, which will launch in November. First, they announced that the maximum limit of 64 players from Battlefield 4 will be reduced to only 40 on Battlefront. Then, they said that there will be no server browsing on consoles. (We wrote about that recently – we’re not finding this a good idea, let’s put it that way.) And now they say that Battlelog, which is seen for Battlefield 4 as well, will also going to be left behind!
Battlelog is an online portal, where we can take a look at our statistics, our awards, be able to chat with our friends or look for new guys/gals to join us in the next matches. This makes Battlelog pretty much a social network. This is available on the PlayStation 4 version of Battlefield 4 as well, albeit a little limited compared to the PC’s. With Battlefront, DICE is effectively throwing this thing entirely into the trash can with one swift throw. And we wrote about server browsers not available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Well, it’s not going to be available on the PC either!
After all this, we are a bit skeptic about Battlefront… it seems the game is being held back, isn’t it?
