PS2 Classics might be announced for PlayStation 4 soon

On the PlayStation 3, it’s a common sight to see the original PlayStation‘s games available digitally for the previous generation’s console. Following this setup, it’s very likely that Sony will step forward on both ends and PlayStation 2 classics will be available on PlayStation 4 in the near future. However, Sony didn’t even mention anything about it yet…

Pan European Game Information, aka PEGI has rated three games on the PS4: Ape Escape 2, Dark Cloud 2 and Twisted Metal Black. Meanwhile, the PEGI entries were deleted, which is suspicious.. But hold on, these are PS3 games. This already is suspicious, because you don’t really see games rated by devs/publishers for no reason. And we already have a prediction of what’s to come…

It’s likely that Tokyo Game Show – held this week – is going to have Sony announcing the PS2 Classics, moving a lot of the games from the most successful PS console to the current-gen one. Seeing how Sony hasn’t announced it officially yet, it’s going to be one of their key elements on their conference. We’d be glad to see that, because while Gran Turismo 7 is in development, we can pick up the 4th game.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
