It’s not a joke: there is another save corruption bug on Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. We wrote about the first one (as well as when it got repaired), but now, here’s another bug. Now, we won’t get into trouble for using Quiet as buddy on certain missions, as there is another thing that triggers this save corrupting bug. Do you share your console with other accounts? This is the triggering factor…
If there are multiple SEN accounts are used on one console (and this bug only affects the PS4!), then the game can write out that the save data can’t be used as the relevant downloadable content isn’t present – basically, our save data disappears in the clouds. This shouldn’t happen, especially not now – we are just moments away from the launch of Metal Gear Online on consoles. WTF Konami… and we can sadly say this for several reasons. Let’s hope that this (TOO!) will be fixed as soon as possible. We can’t say anything else, really… And about the fact that Konami filed a trademark for a Big Boss pachinko, all we can do is count to ten and… say that this is such a joke!
